Example 1 – CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma to BA (Hons) Business & Management (3rd Year Top-up) (University of Central Lancashire)

Studying a level 5 Diploma (you will normally need a Level 3 or 4 qualification with some employment experience) will take approximately 1 year and can lead to the final year of a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Business and Management.

Your ultimate qualification after completing the necessary experience could be BSc CMgr MCMI.  If you are in employment with some previous experience in management you could, for example, obtain this qualification set within 2 years.

Example 2 – CMI Level 7 Extended Diploma to MBA Global (University of Derby)

Studying a level 7 Diploma (you will normally need a Level 5 or degree qualification with some employment experience) will take approximately 1 year and can lead to the final year of a Masters in Business Administration, MBA, or a Masters in Business and Management.

Your ultimate qualification after completing the necessary experience could be MBA CMgr FCMI.  If you are in employment with some previous experience in management you could, for example, obtain this qualification set within 2 years.

University of Derby

CiEED is a partner to the University of Derby with a route to business and management degrees, masters etc via CMI qualifications.  This is especially so with regard to the CMI Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership which has a progression route to the Final Year MBA Global.  CiEED is also authorised to recruit students for a wide range of other programmes across the faculties and schools of the University – please ask for details.

University of Central Lancashire

CiEED is a partner with the University of Central Lancashire with a very attractive progression route via a CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management & Leadership with advanced entry to the BA(Hons) Business & Management (3rd Year).  CMI qualifications can also lead to entry to other business and management degrees and masters programmes – both face-to-face taught programmes, or distance learning.

Kaplan International Colleges

We can offer the following programmes via UK based international colleges:-

  • Foundation Certificate – Business Law and Social Sciences, or Science & Engineering
  • International Year One programmes or Pre-Masters programmes
  • Pre-Masters Preparatory English or Preparatory English
